Sr. Florine finally pronounced that the citrouille (i.e. pumpkin) was ready to pick. Now she has promised both of the other two to ten missionaries to share. They are excited to get it. I am glad we don't have to deal with more than one!
Sr. Rakotovao (Family History missionary) and her granddaughter.
My favorite, looking better than ever!

This hen and her six chicks have been foraging in our church garden for the past few days. I found out that an office worker owns them, carries them home in a box on the back of his motorcycle every evening, and then brings them back in the morning. The only reason I was able to get them all together is that he had just thrown a handful of rice at them. Of course, rice!
Marcellin has been working for the office for a number of years. He likes to joke in Malagasy and English.
Elder Cornelius in his "cave." He works there from 7:30 am until at least 5 pm every day, and comes in on Monday morning early to skype with his kids. He is in charge of all the financial transactions, and still somehow manages to always be in a good humor.
